Medical emergency

Call 1669

If anyone has been shocked, burned, or has breathed smoke: call 1669 now — Thailand's national emergency medical line. Free, 24 hours.

  1. 1

Do not touch the control box, the pump or the cable — and do not touch anyone who is in contact with them. Do not open the box to look.

  2. 2

Cut the pump circuit at the consumer unit — only if it is dry and safely reachable. If you cannot reach it, switch off the main breaker for the house instead.

  3. 3

If somebody has been shocked and is still in contact with the equipment: call 1669 now, and if the power is still on, push them clear with something dry and non-conductive — a wooden broom handle. Never with your hands.

  4. 4

Once everyone is clear, move people and pets away from the plant area — and out of the pool too, if it is right beside it. Do not switch the pump on, and do not raise the breaker to try again.

  5. 5

Do not spray water on the box or the motor. If there are flames or heavy smoke, get everyone out of the area and call the emergency services.

Then contact us

We do not have an after-hours line. The team answers the phone and reads LINE Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:30. If it is outside those hours, leave a LINE message anyway, with a photo and this page's link — you will be first in the queue on the next working day. What matters right now is the list above, and you can do all of it without us.

Mon–Fri 08:30–17:30 ICT

The pool stays out of use, and the equipment stays off, until an electrician has checked it and said it is safe.

Stop here. Kill the power and call us

This one is a technician's job

High confidence — the answers you gave point clearly at this one cause.

A burning smell, smoke or scorch marks inside the control box mean something is arcing or a terminal is running red hot. Switching it on again is not a test — it is feeding power back into the thing that is about to catch. Nothing on this page is worth that risk.

We stop here because the next step needs an instrument, or carries a risk not worth taking on. Handing this to a technician is the correct answer to these symptoms — not a cop-out.

Once everyone is safe

  1. 1

Once the power is off and everyone is clear, photograph the control box from a safe distance. Do not open it.

  2. 2

Message or call us with the words “burning smell at the pump control box”. That phrase moves the job to the front of the queue and sends an electrical technician, not a general pool visit.

  3. 3

Leave the pump circuit off until a technician arrives. Do not switch it on to see whether it still works.
